Responsible for performing Illumination, ITS, tolling systems and traffic systems planning and design.  Prepare project scopes, schedules and budgets.  You will be responsible for project staff performance, and other duties as assigned.  Report to Office Manager and Director of Engineering.

Alliance has offices in Dallas, TX; Austin, TX: and, Lake Charles, LA. This position may be located in any of these locations.

Required Skills:

  • ·          Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
  • ·          PE License in Texas or ability to acquire same within 3 months.
  • ·          3 or more years experience after licensure performing duties similar to those listed above.
  • ·          TxDOT precertification or ability to acquire same in categories 7.4.1, 7.5.1, 8.2.1, 8.3.1, 8.4.1
  • ·          Expertise with engineering software, programs and methods used for duties described above.
  • ·          Must pass background and driver’s record check.

Desired Skills:

  • ·          6 or more years experience after licensure performing projects similar to those listed above.
  • ·          Additional TxDOT precertification traffic and transportation categories or ability to acquire same.

Information Technology Analyst, Austin

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with the management, maintenance and troubleshooting of a corporate network and servers. The applicant may also be tasked with occasional programming assignments. A working knowledge of or experience with programming is preferred, but not required.

  • ·          Periodic maintenance of mission critical Microsoft domain, web, and database servers
  • ·          Configuration and set-up of new server and client computers
  • ·          Periodic maintenance of Microsoft Exchange email servers
  • ·          Maintenance of existing Anti-Spam and anti-virus systems
  • ·          Administration of primary and secondary DNS for corporate domain
  • ·          Software installation
  • ·          Works closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs
  • ·          Basic operational support for internal employee computer systems using Microsoft Windows XP/7 Professional
  • ·          Occasional travel (2-3 times a year) to satellite offices for IT deployment/maintenance

Required Skills:

  • ·          2 or 4 year degree from an accredited university preferred (degree in progress acceptable).
  • ·          1 year of relevant work experience is equivalent to 1 college year.
  • ·          Detail oriented.
  • ·          Good communication skills in both technical and non-technical roles.
  • ·          Willingness to learn and evolve in a dynamic work environment.
  • ·          Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
  • ·          Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology.
  • ·          Must be able to travel occasionally and as needed.

Good working knowledge of the following:

Responsible for performing traffic and transportation systems analysis, planning and design.  Responsible for performance to scope, schedule and budget.  Responsible for performance of project staff.  Other duties as assigned.  Report to Office Manager and Director of Engineering

Required Skills:

  • ·          Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
  • ·          PE License in Texas or ability to acquire same within 3 months.
  • ·          6 or more years progressive experience performing engineering duties similar to those listed above.  Particular consideration given to experience with Traffic Impact Analysis, corridor mobility and long-term improvement analysis, and signal/electrical design
  • ·          Expertise with engineering software, programs and methods used for duties described above.
  • ·          Must pass background and driver’s record check.

Desired Skills:

  • ·          10 or more years experience performing projects similar to those listed above.
  • ·          Experience using SYNCHRO, VISSIM and similar modeling software.
  • ·          Experience with CADD software.
  • ·          TxDOT precertification in applicable categories.

CTA Austin TX has immediate openings.   

MECHANICAL EIT

CTA Austin is seeking a Mechanical EIT with 0-5 years experience in design for commercial buildings.  Must be able to design, specify, draft various plumbing systems and experience with Revit a plus. 
                                                                                                                                                           

ELECTRICAL EIT

CTA Austin has an opening for an Electrical EIT/ Designer with 0-5 yrs. Experience.  Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of design components and design experience in electrical building systems including lighting, power and special systems.  Experience with REVIT a plus.  

                                                                                                                                                           

ARCHITECT/PM

Five years experience and must have Retail project experience and proficiency with Revit.  LEED Accreditation is desired.  Must be able to oversee and manage multiple projects.  Excellent communication and commitment to customer service required.
